So yeah, writing this basically to let everyone know that I am NOT dead XD I know, I know, it's been a while since I've posted anything....but hey, I'm an engineering major, not an art major. I just don't have as much free time as I would like to work on art. I have had a chance to come up with some really cool ideas for origami and traditional/anime drawing.
Awesome news! So, I've been getting a few emails recently about people having seen my work and guess what? I have actually been commissioned...well...almost. We're still negotiating prices ^^' But hey, still pretty happy about it considering I don't really advertize my work or anything . If all goes well, I will be making a swan, a dragon of some sort, and a tiger. However, it's been requested in COLOR. Which is a big deal for me. I've only done colored modular origami one time, and that was only for someone very special for me. I'm not too sure how I feel about doing it in color...I kind of swore to myself to not do colored modular work except for people really really dear to me. Hurm.
So yeah, I also got a few notes, emails, etc. about the link to ERA X in my old journal not working anymore. Well, that's because I took it down from livejournal. I realized that there was still a lot of work I wanted to do on it. I also took down the deviation on here that had the old version of the first chapter. Chapter zero doesn't change....like ever XD . Good news though, I have still been working on it. In fact, I have a very tentative version of the anime opening that I've been animating for the past like two years on and off online at newgrounds. Unfortunately, newgrounds only accepts files of 10mBs or smaller from normal people, so I had to cut the quality of the audio basically in half...so really low quality music with semi decent animation. I'm still gonna work on it ^^' . I've also written a LOT more of ERA X. It currently stands at 82 pages, and I've been working on it more and more . Hopefully, something great will come out of it. My fingers are crossed!
